@SatSahara no one i know has received a rejection letter (ironic considering the selectivity of Laf) so idk what is happening. i guess no letter is better than a rejection. Right now im thinking mine is lost in the mail.
My anxiety is turning to panic :(. Still haven’t heard anything from the school.
Still haven’t recieved any snail-mail. Does it mean I am rejected? International student here.
@Anxietyisdeadly we internationals are supposed to get the notification online within today or tomorrow…
@Anxietyisdeadly @imrakibul96 I believe we will receive the notification via email today, because that was what Lafayette said on their Twitter!
Btw can’t wait for the decision!!!
@MinhSu1411 yeah! True!
What’s the deal with the link that was posted a few comments ago? I could log in but it couldn’t fine my financial aid does this mean I’m rejected?
@juicywhale Nah, the links have nothing to do with your decision status, so keep your fingers crossed
From what I’ve just seen on Twitter “… internat’l student decisions are slated to hit email inboxes this Thursday”. Well it looks like we will have to struggle for another 24-hour

@legend260 they said Weds on their Facebook page
So I wanted to confirm something about this link: https://bannerselfservice.lafayette.edu/
If I go to that one (not the Admissions entry point), I can log in. I have no financial aid awarded.
If I click on Financial Aid–>Student Account–> View and/or Pay Your Bill Online, it takes me to another website, where I can click on “eDeposits” and have the option to pay my $750 deposit as a new student. Does everyone have that access? That was the first indication that I’d gotten admitted to some SUNYs, but it sounds like everyone has this option, which seems a little odd, but definitely possible.
@legend260 what noooo :(!!! I am too devastated to wait huhu.
@lulu2015 Trust me, the link has nothing to do with whether you are accepted or not. I applied ED1 to Lafayette, and there was also a rumour about the link, which I was able to log in. Well I got a deferral letter a few hours later and now I’m here
@MollyN I saw the news on an admission staff’s twitter, see for yourself https://twitter.com/k_zerbe
@legend260 - So you could pay the deposit? That was definitely the difference between accepted/deferred/rejected at the SUNYs (everyone could log in and poke around but the deposit link wouldn’t allow you to pay until you were admitted and it flipped over before they posted decisions). Oh well! I really love Lafayette, but I have a lot good choices and will hopefully get the letter today and the last few schools by the end of the week. Good luck to you - it sounds like Lafayette is your first choice!
@lulu2015 that’s what I’m wondering. It sounds like it doesn’t mean anything but why would they allow anyone to make a deposit? It seems like that could get really messy.
In CT and nothing in mail today
Anyone from Vietnam?
@ursawarrior Well, I am which high school did you attend back in VN?
@kcgirl1017 - So sorry. I am on pins & needles and am afraid I’ll be in the same boat when our mail arrives this evening. Our mail service is terrible, comes late, and things get lost ALL THE TIME. I don’t understand why every college isn’t using a portal/email notification at this stage. This process is nerve wracking enough without having to worry about the mailbox and I also would rather know decisions myself before my parents, but they tend to get the mail first. I’m also waiting on a letter from Skidmore. I think it’s nice that Lafayette sends a personalized letter to admitted students, but they could still send that out after initially notifying online.
