so far ive gotten into Lafayette & RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) & wait listed at RPI(Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) & Villanova. I have NO idea where i wanna go. please share your thoughts about these schools i can really use any help i can get in making my decision. Thanks

I can only assume you are looking at engineering/ hard science, looking at this list

RPI and RIT are solid tech schools if you are into that (f you want girls/sports team/ non tech friends probably not best choices)

Lafayette is a really strong LAC, with a great engineering dept. (If you want a more well rounded academic experience this is a great place)

Villanova is a strong midsized school with tons of different options (probably the best school on this list, but will be a challenge getting off WL. Also most people are catholi, since its a catholic U, if that matters to you)

I would choose Lafayette over RIT if you want a well rounded college experience, while I would choose RIT if you just want a technical education. This is assuming you can’t get off waitlists. If you can, I would choose Nova.

i would like to major in mechanical engineering at wat ever school i go to w/ a focus on either biotech, biomechanics, or bioengineering.

RPI is by far the best school on the list if you’re going for anything math / science / engineering related…come to think of it, i think it’s prob the most prestigious overall on that list…if you get in there, go there…
