Lally School of Management

How good is the Lally School of Management?
I've seen the new rankings which put it #26 overall
and #1 for corporate strategy, but considering there
are other rankings for corporate recruitment and job placement,
what exactly does corporate strategy mean for rankings?
I've gotten into McGill's school of management and am deciding between
that or RPI
any ideas?

I would consider other factors. McGill and RPI are very different schools!

They both probably have comparable programs in terms of academics. I wouldn't let the rankings decide for you here. McGill is a lot bigger in terms of number of students and different in a lot of other ways I would guess.

I don't know much about McGill's program, but Lally is largely based on technology. Going to a largely science and engineering school is going to give you that. Their core curriculum even requires you to take biology. You take calc first year, as well as intro to management, etc. A lot of people in the program actually seem to double major or minor in management. However, there are still a few that major solely in management.

Their strongest program overall is finance.

I really suggest talking to someone in the Lally school, like the director or something. They're really flexible and willing to talk.
