Language credits

<p>For some schools, especially the ivies (Yale and Princeton ??), it appears that four consecutive years of the same language is an actual application requirement. How stingy are schools on this? I took two years of Latin and will never take another course in my life... Should I not even bother applying?</p>

<p>Anyone else get into Yale or Princeton without taking four years of the same language?</p>

<p>usually, 4 means 4 no matter what, unless say you switch schools and they don't offer the language you were taking</p>

<p>None of those ivies require 4 years of foreign language. It is 'recommended' but if you don't have it it wont kill your app unless your app meets some nazi-adcom</p>
