I am considering UNL for next year. I having studied Spanish, German, and Russian and I am looking for some guidance. I visited the campus this summer and spoke with a German professor. She seemed to be quite knowledgeable and the program appeared to be well established (through study abroad programs, opportunities upon graduation, etc.) Do you know if this is true and, if it is, are the other languages as good at UNL?

Is it possible to take on two language majors while doing course work in another? The professor who I talked to said that she believed that it wouldn't be an issue, but I wanted to get an opinion from someone who has experience as a student.

I plan to go to graduate school (probably for comparative literature) after getting my bachelor's degree. Do you think it is a wise decision to go to UNL (where I can pay in state tuition) rather than to a private college where, though I may get scholarships, I may still pay significantly more money? I have heard that it is not crucial to go to a prestigious university for undergrad in order to gain acceptance to good graduate programs. Do you believe this to be true?

Thank you for your time!
