<p>I was just wondering if NYU requires at least 3 years of foreign language classes before applying as a freshman. I took Spanish 1 in 8th grade, Spanish 2 in 9th, and Spanish 3 in 10th. I am a junior right now, and currently not taking any language. I'm just confused on whether this would appear as two years of language or three, or if there is such a requirement in the first place. Any information would help!</p>

<p>I didn’t take any Language classes aside English but I have been offered admission, English isn’t my first language idk if that made any difference. I definitely think two years of a foreign language should be enough </p>
<p>Many kids at my school took another language in 8th. Allt hey did was transfer the credit (talked with principal’s assistant). Or take the AP Spanish…</p>
