Languages Houses

Cornell really appealed to me because you can live in Language Houses for as many semesters as you want where they speak only 1 specific foreign language. If I went to cornell I would probably go back and forth between the Japanese and Spanish houses. Does anyone know of other colleges that offer Language house programs?

Many do. ..............

Most of the top schools seem to offer them, LAC or University, at least, of the ~20 I've visited.

MIT has them for French, German, and Spanish. I'm sure many others do too.

Penn has them. French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian...perhaps more? I don't know. I'm there for the German.

what is the program at MIT called?

For example at UW they have both on and off campus houses

The French House at the University of Wisconsin - Madison

Some have language halls, too. (Bryn Mawr does, but that's not really helpful to you because you're a guy).

I'm pretty sure that University of Virginia also has language houses.
