Laptop for Wharton (Mac or PC?)

So I have to get a new laptop, and I am a Mac-lover. But I hear from some people that there are a lot of Wharton programs that you can only run on PCs and I don't want to get Bootcamp (the Windows OS) for Mac since it will cost a lot more money. Do you think I can survive in Wharton with a Mac and Office for Mac, or should I just suck it in and get an ugly clunky PC? (no offense to PC-lovers)

Are you only put off by PCs because they look poorly aesthetics? If so, check out the HP Envy line…they basically stole the entire design choice from Apple anyways.

Windows 7 is rather pretty in my opinion anyway. Toshibas are good laptops. I love mine. But yeah, if you don’t want to get Windows for your Mac, get a PC.

Thats what I got. Looks and feels like a mac…runs like a pc.

hmm…you are right, HP Envy does look nice (and very much like a mac book pro). The reason I didn’t think of buying these before is because they don’t have them at the back to school sale, which is where I was thinking of buying my laptop. They mostly only have Dell Latitudes, which are a lot clunkier than macs. I also really like the battery life on macs and the included iLife software, but I guess I’ll always have to make compromises…
