<p>I'm joining GT this Fall and I was wondering on which one I should choose. If I already have a laptop for classes and such, is it necessary/better for me to buy another laptop/desktop to use in my dorm? Do you guys think that a desktop is too much to fit into a first year dorm?</p>
<p>I don't know if there will be enough space for a desktop. I wouldn't worry about buying a new one if you already have a laptop; there will be many computers available around the campus.</p>

<p>First, you can fit a desktop in the dorms. Several of my friends use desktops, and I don't think it made their rooms feel any smaller.</p>
<p>Second, as others have noted, all incoming students are now required to have a laptop. You already have one, so you're fine. If you want to bring your desktop, go ahead - no matter which dorm you live in, you will have space. (Unless you have like a 24" CRT. Who has those, anyway?)</p>
