Do students generally bring their notebooks in the classrooms? Is it the norm? or not? If it helps, I will major in Bio.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-florida/908514-laptops.html I would take mine to class. btw I am also going to major in BIO

I am a sophomore Pre-Med Nutritional Sciences major, so I have taken many of the classes that you will probably be taking. In my experience, I have found that most students, myself included, do not bring their laptops to class. Of course there are some people who do bring laptops to class, but the majority do not. It will probably be best to decide after you attend class and are able to determine the best way to take notes for your classes.

Most people do not bring their laptops. It ends up being more of a hassle then it’s worth. Even when I bring my laptop to campus, I don’t take it out in class.

If you’re in anything even minorly technical, you’re probably gonna have to either write equations or diagrams, and the laptop is absolutely worthless for doing that effectively.

I wonder if 17-inch notebooks are popular there.
