But... but... Leopard isn't out yet and I don't have Time Machine...I'd have to do it...

DUH DUH DUH!!!

THE OLD FASHIONED WAY!!!

For the record, I remember ghosting drives in DOS. Ugh.

pardon, mr s?

Backing up your files is such a pain without decent software to expedite the process.

It was even worse in DOS. Don't feel bad, you're really too young to remember the Dark Ages.

I'm 4 years younger than you, do we have that huge of a generation gap?

Anyway if your files are text it should be easy to backup, burn a CD once a ... insert.?

In terms of computers, its a pretty big gap. I am only 3 years younger than him, but I remember using a computer with DoS to type up my homework and play floppy disk games from the 99 cent store.

Dude 4 yrs is a lot. Especially for computers and stuff.

just use 1 cd and backup word files

4 years in computers is like 20 years in culture. :p

Oh, and Jason's idea works, but I have an even better one:

Set up a RAID array with a redundancy built in. Make sure to also catalogue your entire array onto DL-DVDs every month.

:D

Mmmmm. DOS! I definitely remember.. but more like.. I used to play Ninja Turtles.
