<p>Hey everyone! I was wondering if it is better(more efficient and cheaper) to purchase a laptop (Mac Book Pro) at the Stanford Bookstore or to buy it online or at an Apple store near home?</p>

<p>You do get a student discount if you buy it from the Stanford Bookstore, but maybe you can also get the discount at an Apple store... not sure.</p>
<p>There's an online Stanford-Apple student store. You can get everything for discount as long as you have your SUNet ID. I think you should be able to access it via the reguar mac website.</p>
<p>Yeah. Just find Stanford with the zip code 94305 and log in with SUnetID, and you'll have all the discounts. Although sometimes the bookstore does have better deals/sales to clear out slightly older inventory.</p>
