Large city schools (NYC, LA ...) +++++

<p>Hello there, I'm a first year at UCR and I want to study business and (preferably) photography in NYC or LA</p>

<p>Leaning toward NYC, especially since I won't have a car, and it seems like the best place for what I want to do outside of school (music and photography related)</p>

<p>My SAT was 2030, high school GPA was about 3.75 weighted. I'm pretty confident in my portfolio, so I may have a chance at competitive art schools. I'd only major in photography / minor business if I get into a good art program like Tisch. Otherwise I'd major in business.</p>

<p>Although not in LA or NY, maybe add the University of San Francisco to your list.
Perhaps Cal Art?</p>

<p>How much money do you have to spend? If you need any financial aid you should understand that transfer students rarely get any significant help beyond the need-based amounts.</p>

<p>Knowing how much you can afford will help other posters make useful suggestions.</p>
