Last chance thread before applying!!! Help!! Ayudame!!!

As the title so eloquently states, I am abandoning chancing after this post. I just want to make sure my college list isn't too extreme. I will narrow it down a bit after some more college visits. If you could break it down into Reach/Match/Safety that would be awesome!

Generic:
Race: White
Grade: Class of 2010
State: Massachusetts
School: Parochial, competitive at the top of the class, gets about 5 kids into Ivies a year out of 250, others into good schools.

Academic:
Class Rank: Top 10% (we're not told specific rank, only which 10% we're in).
GPA UW: 91/100
GPA W: 104/100
SAT I: 770 CR, 790 M, 760 W, 2320 T
SAT IIs: (I am retaking all of them, but as of now): 670 Spanish, 750 Math II, 720 Literature
APs: Calc AB, Eng Lang (Self-Study), US History...took all exams in May 09 and am expecting to at least pass all, but I will probably do better than just pass.
Senior Course Load: Psychology Honors, AP English Lit, AP Biology, AP Statistics (ive exhausted all other math classes), AP Spanish, and AP Chemistry (outside of school at MIT).
Other:
~I am the only junior to take 3 APs
~ NOBODY at my school gets a 4.0 GPA
~ I broke my school's 4 AP limit for my senior year because I thought the rule was ridiculous
~ I was in AP Physics this year, but because the class wasn't too good I did not take the exam.
~I transferred to my high school sophomore year, so my rank is lower than it should be and all my clubs are 3 years, not 4.

Extracurriculars:
Captain Varsity Tennis Team (10-12)
Captain Academic Decathalon (10-12)
Math Team (10-12)
AMIGOS (11-12) [this is a charity program to help underpriveleged children]
Volunteer at Local Food Pantry and Local Homeless Shelter
Volunteer at Local Hospital (one of my passions as I want to go premed)
Job at local ice cream store and grocery store (different time periods)

Essays: Should be good. One will definitely be about being gay in an uber-Catholic school and how that has shaped who I am today.
Teacher Recs: Again, should be very good.

Las Universidades:
Harvard College (tentative)
Columbia U (definite)
Brown U (definite)
UPenn (tentative)
Georgetown U (def)
Johns Hopkins U (def)
NYU (tentative)
Boston University (def)
Swarthmore C (tentative)
UMass Amherst (def)
Boston College (tentative)
Tufts U (def)
Pomona C (def)

“~I am the only junior to take 3 APs”
Does anybody take 4? haha

“~ NOBODY at my school gets a 4.0 GPA”
Sorry, but a 91/100 is not a 4.0. Closer to a 3.7.

Well… first off… I believe it’s actually “te ayudo.” I’m probably wrong.

But…
Harvard College: reach
Columbia U: reach
Brown U: reach
UPenn: low reach
Georgetown U: low reach
Johns Hopkins U: high match
NYU: match
Boston University: safe match
Swarthmore C: not sure
UMass Amherst: safety
Boston College: low reach
Tufts U: not sure
Pomona C: not sure.

Methinks you need more safeties. I’d hate to see you get doomed to UMass.

te ayudo= i help you

anyway, you have waaaaay too many schools. Unless you have good, solid reasons for why you are applying to each school, I’d say you need to make some major cuts. Plus you will face the ‘why this college’ essay for several of the schools on your list… and bs won’t do the job. I applied to 10 and I really regret it now. I wish I had taken more time on less apps; I could’ve put so much more into each one. Choose deliberately and wisely. Definitely add another safety.

to circumlocution, I mentioned this VERY briefly above lol, so you probs missed it. This is my final list before some more visits, after which I will eliminate more schools.

Harvard College: high reach
Columbia U: mid reach
Brown U: low reach
UPenn: low reach
Georgetown U: low reach
Johns Hopkins U: high match
NYU: match
Boston University: safe match
Swarthmore C: high match-low reach
UMass Amherst: safety
Boston College: match
Tufts U: high match
Pomona C: high match-low reach

We have the same SAT composite…scary.
