I will be come a senior after this summer. I was wondering which month would be the last month I could take before I apply regular. I know that the regular decision deadline is between January 1~ February 2. If the deadline is January 1, then could I still take the act or sat on December as a senior? I am worried that I won’t do well on the June’s test and that I won’t have any more opportunities to take the tests.
Look on the web sites of your schools of interest. It should say what last test date is accepted
^Concur. You don’t need to be here looking for answers/guesses. Each school clearly lays out deadlines. You should have them written down somewhere for your reference.
For the SAT, it takes them two months to release the scores, so if you took it in December, you wouldn’t have them to send them in January. I’d say September and November are your best bet.
The ACT, however, takes less time to grade and send out, for whatever reason. It’s usually a little more or less than a month, but it’s risky. You MIGHT be able to get your scores back before your January deadline if you take it in December. Personally, I’d play it safe and test as soon as possible.
