Just a few days before the ACT... I was hoping I could get some tips of what you guys do before/during the test to get high scores :) I have a few tips also, but they probably aren't too great :p

I'm really hoping to get a 35 this time.

I want to ace English and Math... but in practice tests, the only English questions I miss are usually the ones that ask about the passage as a whole or whatever. Stuff like, "Did this passage succeed in..."
And as for Math... well. This will be based on luck for me. Some tests will have a question that I just cannot figure out how to solve. Others will be eeeeeeeeeasy. Let's hope for one of those :)

I'm praying I won't make any silly mistakes in Reading. By the way, I approach the Reading sections by reading through the passage semi-carefully first, then going through the questions. By "semi-carefully" I mean not skimming, but not spending more than 2 and a half minutes on it.
I can't give many tips on the Reading section, but I find it important to not get distracted, and try to somewhat be interested in the passage (this actually kind of works for me!).
Also, do the passages that seem most interesting to you first. Even if it's the longest passage. The more interested you are in it, the better focused you'll be while reading, and the better able you will be to retain the information. Then, you won't have to look back at the passage as many times while answering the questions! :)

Science, science, science.
Oh, boy.
This is the section that will give me the most trouble, I think. My last ACT science was a 31, which isn't too bad, but I really want a 34+ in this section.
My approach, like many others', is to go straight to the question. In recent practice tests, I've been saving the passage-based sections for last. I always do the charts/graphs questions first because they are easier for me.
I just hope I don't run out of time on this test.

Please leave tips for any of the sections! ALL help will be appreciated! :)
