Hey I am taking the ACT tomorrow, and I haven't really studied for it because I have been so busy. I studied for the SAT, but im not sure if that is enough. Any tips or strategies for the test would be greatly appreciated!

Just make sure that you use your time well. If you’re familiar with the format of the test, on almost every section you have less than a minute per question (on math you have one minute per question). Also, on the science section, I would recommend just reading the questions and then going back to find the information in the passage, as it usually just requires reading one chart or diagram (except on the opposing viewpoints section).

Just another note: Having taken both the ACT and the SAT, I find the SAT to be more challenging, question-wise, but the ACT requires you to work faster. So if you are used to the timing on the SAT, try to keep in mind that you will probably have less time on the ACT. Good luck tomorrow!

The most effective type of studying would be to review grammar rules and math concepts. Doing this will help your Math/Eng test scores a whole lot because these two tests are the easiest to raise your score in (most likely due to their objectivity).

does anyone have a link to how to write an act essay?
greatly appreciated :)
