Okay, I know we find out tomorrow about Wellesley, but I'm nervous, okay? Please do a last minute evaluation of my chances, and I will love you all forever. Please? pouty face. Okay, that's a yes!

Essays: The common app one is pretty awesome, short one was good. I can PM them to people
Recommendations: should be great, but I can't read them, obviously.

I didn't interview and got a possible for EE. :(

So, what are my chances tomorrow? Give it to me straight up!

I really can't say, but sure hope it works out!!

thanks, good luck to you too. But does anyone else have anything to say? I've been so nervous all day, and I wish someone would give me an evaluation (even if it's negative).. so I'll be prepared for something instead of feeling totally clueless. Anyone?

awww i'm sure it'll be ok. patpat. you're sat scores are higher than mine... >< i do bad on standardized tests. I hope everything works out. I'm really nervous myself. AHHHH the anxiety!!!! Oh, also, just to get this straight... Wellesley is going to snail mail our decisions tomorrow right? no e-mail? K... cuz i don't want to be off or something. -_-... which means, if I'm living in TX, I can expect a letter on Monday?

aww, thank you, but SAT scores have nothing to do with it... my friend had a low 1900 (with a 590) on her first SATs and a high 2000 on her second try, but she got a likely letter from wellesly because of awesome grades, ecs, etc. So, yeah. I don't think SATs really have to do with it AS MUCH as you guys all think.

Yeah, you'll get a letter by monday, I think.

Anyone going to give me an answer or not? :( I really want some opinions..

Hey, we're all in the same boat. If I gave you an answer, it would most likely be wrong...I'd love to give myself an answer too. You're solid, you have a shot, wait for a couple more days and all will be certain.

just wait a few days. it'll be much worse deciding what decision you'll have based on someone's opinion here on the cc boards. GOOD LUCK. go to sleep, it makes the time pass faster. or if you're dreading it, do your calc homework and time will flow like molasses.

No matter how many people weigh in on your application profile, it won't make you feel any less jittery :) The only people whose thoughts count have already made their decision, and you'll hear about it sooner than it probably seems.

Make a cup of tea, watch a movie, do some yoga, do anything that will keep you from obsessing about the mail for the next week. Best wishes!

Yes, yoga is a good idea! :-)

Thank you all for not telling me to shut up and stop being annoying! I love doing yoga and drinkin' tea - two of my favorite activities. I was definitely jittery all day (even despite the CC wellesley-aspring girl support!) and called my mommy between classes, but no mail so far.

Oh, well, I'm ready for the worst and hoping from the best, despite the cryptic messages from the school like the possible letter. good luck to you all! maybe I'll see you guys in the fall? Who knows! :)

I JUST GOT MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER IN THE MAIL!!!!!!! yay. yayayayya. :)

Thank you for all your support! I am so frigging happy right now.

PS: Yes it does come in a REALLY big envelope

ahahahah see! you had nothing to worry about.. but paranoia gets the best of us.. i know its gotten me time and time again.

congrats!

YAY, congratulations!!

It's funny, but it's much harder to wait for the mail during school hours. I have this class after school until 6:30, and I was freaking out because I knew the mail was already there. But now it's Saturday, and I'm just chilling and listening to music.

Of course, it helps that I got an acceptance letter to my second choice yesterday!
