Last minute Lit Tips for SATII Lit

Hey I'm scheduled to take the sat2 lit in a few days, havent studied...are there are any tips to getting a 700+??? Especially tips for the poems thats my weak point....

Thanks

any responses?!? Please!!!

please bump

Best advice I can give is to get a good night's sleep. You need your mind to be at its best. There's really no way to study for this one- you either get it or you don't. Good luck, and don't panic if you don't feel like you did well. I came very close to canceling my scores, and then I got a 770.

thank you elizabeth

think about the poems from as many angles as possible...there're a TON of allegories, metaphors, similes, and symbolism in the poems they used (or at least, i thought so when i took it). just be familiar with those literary devices and how to identify them, because often they act as signposts directing you toward the overall meaning of the poem (whoa! a simile!).

yeah, I agree with elizabeth. make sure that you get a good night's sleep. it is very difficult to study for this exam. the only way to study is to practice, and read a lot of challenging literary texts. However, I do suggest a quick review of literary terms.
