Last Minute SAT II Literature Tips!!!

Dear All,

By now I am well aware that there is no easy / practical way to prepare oneself for the SAT II Literature Test. However, are there any last minute tips for taking the test (especially the past test takers)? Thanks, your help is very much appreciated!!!

Ya, try reading it upside down or backwards, I heard that really helps

Has anyone taken the Kaplan tests? How accurate are they compared to the real thing?

Dooit, are you trying to be funny or something? lol

Does anyone have any useful tips?

Bump........

Legend, did you take the Real SAT II test?

Hey Pentasa,

Mmm no, I really didn't do anything to prepare for it, as people in the past have asserted that it is futile to do so. However, I've learned American Literature from Freshmen to Sophomore year, and this year I am studying British Literature. What do you think?

It's just a comical way of saying: there is not much you can do (as the previous posts have proven)

Haha I agree dooit. I'll just do my best with my literary knowledge then! :-)

Anyone know how the Kaplan tests compare?

oops i didnt know you were the creator of this thread...take out the proof part of my post lol :)

Bump........

Anyone else?

What I like to do for poetry is to rephrase it on the side.

Like for this line "Look in thy glass and tell the face thou viewest"

I would translate it to "Look in the mirror and tell me what face you see"

There was a question about that line and I quickly breezed through it.

Thanks for the tip pentasa. :)

Pentasa! A sonnet from Shakespeare perhaps?

Also, read the questions before you read the actual passage. It'll give you an idea on what to watch out for.
