last minute testing...

Does Cornell take the highest scores from each section for the SAT and Subject Tests? Cause... i got the freakin same bad score of 670 for math 2 and im thinking about taking it again this Saturday. You think Cornell will be like "this idiot" or do they overlook how many times you take it?

Yes, highest score for each section, and your highest 3 subject test scores in different sections.

They do however see your other scores, so obviously they can't totally ignore them.

Improvements, though, are definitely good. As long as you don't take a test like 5 times.

if you aren't applying to engineering, don't retake it. it makes you seem like you care too much about testing, rather, just accept your score and improve on other parts of your application, and if you can, send an update on anything new you have.

SAT scores are not the most important thing in the world, nor improving it on your 3rd test going to prove anything much. you should not retake it unless you are 100% sure you can improve it a lot so a little improvement in your score will not be looked at better.

however, like I said, if you are in engineering, you should try to take it again and try for 750+ to have a better chance at getting in.

i'm actually just applying to the Hotel School.

Combined SAT: 2100, 710 M, 680 V, 710W
In quite a few clubs, president of FBLA, treasurer of NHS, Editor in Newspaper, ect..

rank 24/532
gpa: 97....donno 4.0 scale

anyone know of my chances? I really don't hear much about chances to the Hotel School
