Dude just calm down. Yeah, I think if you want to do Cornell, do a retake. But seriously dude, SATs measure neither your worth as a human being nor your actual intelligence. Just take a deep breath for you do anything drastic.

Uh, please don't commit suicide ..
You're applying for engineering, not english, and you seem well qualified as it is. Retake would be good though, why not.

Whoa! Take a deep breath, and don't do anything drastic. If you got 800 on your math, you obviously have a lot going for you. I don't know if high 500's on the others will get you into Cornell, but why not go for it and see? If not, there are plenty of other good schools where you could get a great engineering education, and you are obviously smart enough to make the most of it. Good luck, and please try to keep this SAT thing in perspective. it's one stupid test, not a measure of your worth as a human being!

You scored an 800 on the math portion and you want to committ suicide? Mind your tongue lad. People would kill for that score, not committ sabuku. Be happy with your scores...they really mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Hey since you don't like your scores can I have them? I would love to have that math score. I mean as opposed to that 500 I got it would look pretty nice...Too bad I couldn't have you take my math portion and than do your english sections for you. Have you considered the ACT as an option? I scored significantly higher on all sections of the ACT than I did on the SAT. Anyway you could probably pull an easy 34 on the ACT which would place you in the 99th percentile.
