I am running late; an extremely unwise decision on my part. But you can help make things easier for me by reviewing my UC prompt #2 essay and responding to it. I don't have access to a school counselor or a teacher with experience with American universities, so any and all feedback is extremely appreciated!

I have been contemplating this for weeks, because what my son has finally decided to do is to use what he wrote in the common ap,which is for most of the colleges he is interested in, using that second essay for describing an experience, using it for 740 words and only using 100 for the first essay and about 160 for the third ( the anything else you want to explain). My sense is that UC is so by the numbers these days. I heard hat 50 thousand applied to UCLA last year. After all, they don't even want a transcript or reccomendations until you get through the first door...which is why in the end, it is probably a moot point for my out of state son whose school doesn't have APs, cause all classes are considered honors, and there's no grade inflation. So it's unlikely he will get through the first door. But our strategy has been to use essay no two as the main essay, because it is so like the first topic essay on the common ap... hope that makes sense.

I would love to edit you essay! I finished mine but they need more revising. Wanna exchange essays?
