SCHOOLS I HAVE CONSIDERED BEFORE/MAY CONSIDER (most reaches):
Alabama- Already admitted
Maryland (mother went there),
Pitt,
USC,
Towson,
Northeastern,
Wisconsin,
Michigan,
GA Tech,
Florida State,
Minnesota,
Colorado-Boulder,
Penn State,
Tennessee (Aunts-3 went there),
Syracuse,
Bucknell,
Oklahoma- Already admitted

where is good for me to apply do you think? My ACT/SAT scores AND gpa are bad.

HELPPPP? haha

eeep? help maybe? this is my last chance

Have you considered American?

Yes, and I don’t like it. I want a big school with at least 10,000 people, and a football team haha and i’ve visited and the campus only being 36 acres REALLY bugs me

Bumpaaaage yo

Your list sounds pretty good to me. Georgia Tech doesn’t seem to fit though. Maryland would be good. If you don’t make the cut for fall admission, they might offer you January admission, so start thinking about whether you would like that or not. You are in good shape with two acceptances already.

haha I applied to maryland for the program that IF i by chance fail out of another school they MUST take my credits if i transfer, i definitely do NOT want to go to maryland though.

why doesnt GA tech fit? to reachy?

I like your list. Michigan and Bucknell seem reachy. Indiana and Kansas would not be

haha Im actually not applying to bucknell anymore and my list looks a little different, I wasnt sure kansas would be good for a government job haha any other schools you think?
i added florida state and ohio state though

University of Arizona
University of Alabama

both are big and have big football What about Virginia Tech?

I never consdiered arizona, haha maybe ill look at that
my mom will NOT let me go to VT, nor would i want to haha

I think, USC, Michigan and maybe Wisconsin are reaches. Georgia Tech and maybe Pitt are also on the high match/low reach end of things, though your URM status could be a boost. The rest seem fine, though Northeastern doesn’t have much of a football program especially when compared to most of the rest of your list. haha.

hahah i forgot to edit the list, which i guess i should have lol im not applying to USC nor am i applying to Northeastern lol; I was hoping the fact that maybe im a little bit different would stand out, im not sure though urgh i loved Wisconsin it has a wonderful language program haha =)

Bumpaaage; I’ve deleted Northeastern, Towson, USC, and Tenn possibly adding some others… but what do you think?

Haaaa, So impatient? yelp

Georgia Tech did not seem to fit because it is known as an engineering school. You are interested in international relations, languages, and possible government work. The atmosphere is different at the technical schools. It sounds to me as if you need to be around people who are interested in a wide range of subjects- languages, cultures, social sciences, politics, languages, literatures, etc. A general university with a broad range of programs just sounds like a much better fit.

I guess i see what your saying but, georgia tech is ranked in the top 40 for amount of students in IR, while thats not high. . . I dunno, ir eally liked the school
