ahh u had basically the same SAT as me! i just got my december one and got an 1850. superscored.

id say…occidental, pepperdine, and chapman. oh and loyola marymount
for reaches: NYU and USC

UM-CP seems to be the obvious choice here.

For DC proper, American and George Washington would work.

lol i realize i didn’t even specify what i like hahah ><

*10k+
*Preferably in a colder region (made a few exceptions with Florida State & Alabama)
*Big college schools (which are mostly state schools)
*I like space so preferably a big campus
*no LACs

babygrl - haha I can’t really go out to california, i feel that would be to far away and california just isn’t my type of place lol

ohkid - I applied to UMCP & GW =) American i visited and pretty much hated it lol

try any of the SUNY schools in NY since they are even cheap for OOS

do they have sports?

Bring up my post =)

bump yoz, hmpf?
December break down

the same da*n 26 Composite
26- English
27-Math
27-Reading
25-Science

Whyy oh whyy can’t they take your best from each section lol and make it one big composite

gumb gumb h

Bucknell, Lafayette, Holy Cross

thanks for the suggestions, but they don’t have 10k+ people =/

and lafayette is an LAC and so is Holy Cross

I agree with OHKID, it sounds like you are describing the University of Maryland-College Park. It seems to have everything you are looking for unless you want to be a little further from home.

Yeahhh UMD is NOT for me, I dispise it haha. I absolutely hate the area, it’s to close to home and in general don’t wanna go to school there, i definitely wanna be away from home

babygrl9205,
USC would be a definite reach. The weighted GPA for incoming freshmen in the 2008-2009 class was 4.1. The Middle 50% SAT composite was 1910-2200.
This information was posted on the university website.

haha my cousin went to USC, I like it… but i would never wanna live in california anyway

Maybe consider Syracuse, Penn State (UP), Pitt, Virginia Tech and Boston U.

Thanks =) I’ve applied to Syracuse, Penn State, Pitt EA and got deffered to normal admissions i guess?, and WAS going to apply to BU but there deadline is Jan 1st and I couldn’t get the materials needed to apply by then.

My mom wont let me go to VT

But thank you =)!
What about Texas A&M?

You should get in to some/most of the schools you have applied to. Good luck with Pitt - be sure to send your first semester grades ASAP.

I won’t argue with your Mom about VT but the shootings could have happened anywhere. It is in the middle of nowhere - but people seem to love it there.

Texas A&M is very conservative and has its own unique culture. May be a culture shock coming from MD. (UT Austin would be great but it is very selective - particularly for OOS.)

Since you are considering the Southeast - maybe look at UGA (a little bit of a reach), South Carolina and Clemson.

Also some of the Big Ten schools like Indiana, Mich. St. and Minnesota (you said you like cold).

hahah;
quakerstake: Thanks, im not even bothering with pitt anymore i can’t see myself really there it was more for my sister who is a HUGE pitt fan about everything lol Yeahhh thats not the only reason for VT, i know a TON of people who go there that say stuff goes on people dont even know about and a few people already transfered out… about TAMU, The conservative feel doesn’t bother me i come from an extremely conservative family i think i may visit it depending… I was thinking of UGA since it also has a pretty easy app (so i’ve heard?), USoCar i visited and didn’t like, and im on the edge about clemson i do like the colors but i feel idk haha

I applied to Minnesota, it’s actually among my top 3! =)

I’ve applied to some i just wanted to see what people would suggest: (Colorado, Minnesota, Syracuse, Penn State, Pitt, Maryland, Alabama)
