I know applying and getting in to a boarding school at this time is a long shot, but does anyone know any boarding schools that are still accepting late applications? Are there any schools with rolling admissions? I know applying next year would be my best bet, but I would still like to see if there are chances, no matter how small they may be.

It’s also not a bad idea to call around to some of the smaller schools that you are interested in. Where I teach, we usually have a few kids who choose to withdraw over the summer. I know it’s only anecdotal, but there are a few kids every year here who apply and are admitted over the summer. It’s only a few, but it does happen, and I bet it’s a similar situation at most other small (under 350) schools… Without revealing my school’s name, I will say we are not a rolling admissions school–we’re one of the schools with a posted deadline for applications. Definitely start with the list from the link above, but don’t be afraid to call around and ask schools if they are accepting applications for the fall–if you are a Full Pay applicant. If your family can pay full freight, you might still find a spot somewhere.

Thank you for your help @SevenDad and @Albion . I’ve been calling and emailing some other schools. So far, I’ve only found one open school (I’m not interested in attending though).
