<p>I passed the 12am deadline tonight for my fee to UMich due to some financial difiiculties and such of transfering bank payments. Do you think Umich will mind by taking the money tomorrow 6/5? I 'll call first thing in the morning.</p>
<p>To my knowledge, they are not refusing late deposits. You should be okay.</p>
<p>When I called them today, they said I need to send a letter to he "Enrollment deposit appeals committee" I was shocked that they had one for this purpose...</p>
<p>Well, there are some years where they've been extremely strict about it. Anyone who didn't deposit on time was out of luck, unless they had a very good explanation. I didn't think this was one of those years.</p>
<p>I sure hope its not,i have a valid reason, as discussed on the phone with the undergrad admission woman I spoke with, She said that It was a good reason and that I just needed to put it in letter form. But I think that due to my circumstances...they should consider it.</p>
<p>I wouldn't be sweating it at this point. Go through the procedure and it should be fine. Don't decline Miami yet (just in case!) but honestly, U-M has not had to be hard-nosed about deadlines this year so far. That may change, but I don't think that would affect you</p>
