Late Fafsa!

<p>I know that this is really stupid, but due to a variety of circumstances that I won't bore you with, I turned in my FAFSA late!</p>

<p>I live in California (the deadline is March 2), and I turned in my FAFSA at 10:11 pm. After I finished, I was so excited, but I freaked out when the receipt page said that the submitted date was MARCH 3 CENTRAL TIME! I missed the deadline by 11 minutes! Is there anything I can do to fix this? Please reply if you know; I am so nervous right now that my stomach is cramping.</p>

<p>Not much you can do at this point-- most likely your school(s) will still consider the FAFSA, but you may have missed their priority deadline.</p>

<p>Different states have different deadlines, and each school has their own deadline. You might check with your school(s) website and see if they specify that the FAFSA be submitted by March 2, or by midnight March 2 in a particular time zone.</p>
