Hi, if I haven’t yet completed my housing application is it likely that I’ll get put in southeast? I’d like to be in an honors floor on northwest but I’d be fine with central also. Will requesting an honors floor increase my chances of getting into northwest? Also if I don’t want to go Greek should I not go for northwest?

I’m fairly sure that all applications turned in before the deadline will be weighted equally. The deadline is not until May 1st or later. You have a couple weeks still!
I am pretty sure that for regular application, it is by date. My daughter is a freshman, and we put in a housing application early before she made a decision so that she wouldn’t lose out…but for learning communities all are weighted equally until the deadline. My daughter ended up in the KLLC, but says the southeast has the best food and often travels there for dinner. Don’t stress - make your preferences but there are good things and people in all neighborhoods. Request honors floor for sure!

housing opened Feb 5th. We were just at a red carpet day and it was explained that the housing priority goes to the second by when your application was turned in
