Late interview

I was recently contacted by a Harvard alum to schedule an interview. I live in the US.

Since it's nearly two weeks before decision day, does this mean my application passed Harvard's initial screening? Does anyone else have experience with interviews held this late?

Does it really matter? Just accept it and do your best!

Thank you for the support! I’ve already accepted it, but I was just wondering what this meant because I thought the deadline for interviews already passed.

It’s one of two situations:

1) the alum just neglected to meet with you, will submit a report but it won’t matter
2) you’re still on the radar and admissions wants more info. Does that mean a Yes or a No? who will know.

Just let us know on 28 March. Good luck.
