<p>If all my application stuff is in on time except for my 2nd teacher rec, will I automatically be thrown out?
My teacher just told me today he won't be able to get it in until next week, and I'd rather just know whether or not I should even bother spending the money to apply.</p>
<p>Don't worry, I don't think you'll be penalised. After all, it's not your fault, and Stanford knows that. Things like that happen very often, I guess.</p>
