Hello, I might be an international applicant this year for transfer to an american university. I have a problem : I missed the application deadline for the SAT test on Jan 24; the next date is March 14th, one day before the transfer application deadlines. I will eventually call the admissions offices, but until then can anyone tell me if late SAT scores will eliminate my chances?
If it helps to portray my position, I would be applying to Columbia, NYU, MIT, Yale, Cornell and UPenn.

Thanks everyone,
Marcus

Honestly, I'm going to say it will eliminate your chances since they say the latest test scores they can take are from January. I know your an international applicant but are you sure there is no late registration for SATs? But maybe since your international they may allow it. I urge you call them as quickly as possible to understand what happens just so you can stop worrying about it.

Check if you can just arrive at the test center and go on stand-by.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ this poster is correct

go to a school that you don't think will be filled and go as a stand-by. if this is somehow prohibited by you being an international, call collegeboard and beg to somehow fit you in. Hey, you got to do what you got to do. Also, I am pretty sure there is a late deadline like two weeks in advance, so try that first.

CollegeBoard has extended January's late registration deadline to January 9.
