HELP! Late SAT scores=not considered?

Hey all, I have a Jan. 5th deadline and I didn't realize how long it takes for SAT scores to be sent. For the schools with Jan 5 and 15th deadlines, what happens if my SAT scores aren't in by then? Do they not look at the application until they have recieved all the pieces? Or, if all the pieces aren't in by deadline, do they discount the application?
I could do rush delivery, but that's expensive so I would prefer not to if it's not necessary. Input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I have the same problem. Scaryness! I keep trying to call my colleges, but they're all on break >_<

What stinks, is when I took the SATS, I was applying to five colleges, and so I put BU, Boston College, NYU, UW and I was just going to pay for University of Chicago. Except, now I'm not applying to Boston College or NYU, but I am applying to American, GWU, and Rice, so I have to pay for like four more scores to be sent. Bleh.

I was worried too becuase it says 3-5 weeks...but the schools do not review apps. until late jan. and feb. i think?? so as long as they recieve them by then...becuase they say that they will let you know if anything is missing from the app.

ok, that was my thinking too, but i know some people that applied regular decision who have already recieved acceptences... i hate that i can't get in touch with schools b/c most admissions offices are closed...gah.

don't worry, even though it says 3-5 weeks, I think it only takes 5-8 day to process!!(I've sent a couple, and it really just take 5 days at most) so really, that's only a small problem.
