<p>Hi, I was admitted to UC Davis through the waitlist and submitted my SIR but it was cancelled somehow? Either through technological issues or through family use since I share the computer with my family and they may have cancelled it because they don’t know English. However, the woman helped me submit a late SIR request and she sent me an email saying they could not approve it because they reached “maximum capacity”. If that is the case, shouldn’t that mean they can’t accept any appeals?</p>
<p>However, I gave them reasons like UC Davis is close to home and I need to take care of my family that cannot speak English. I also told them that I did not have intentions on cancelling and I WAS admitted to UCD but my SIR was somehow cancelled. Should I fight this? Because my SIR was submitted but then cancelled by something that was not my fault. It’s my top choice and as of now, I’m enrolled in UCI and it would be hard to do a UC to UC transfer in the future.</p>
