Late to apply? UMICH

I'm new to this site so bear with me...
I just recently decided to apply to UMICH Ann Arbor. I should have my application done by tomorrow January 04. The only problem is that the deadline is February 01. Am I applying way too late? Will I even be considered? If this is at all helpful here are my stats.

President of Class
President of NHS
President of AP Biology club
3.9 GPA (Unweighted)
30 ACT composite score
32 college credits
5 AP Classes (as many as my school offered)
Volunteer at local EMT Station
Work Part-Time at McDonalds
Play Varsity Football and Baseball

FEB 1’st the due date, so no, it’s not too late.
You will be considered.
In fact, it will be people like me who apply last minute with mediocre credentials who will get thrown out.
Good luck!

Thats great to hear, but will I be given equal consideration as the people who applied in December? Also, I read about their rolling admissions and it sounded like this only applies before the student capacity is filled. Will it be filled before I submit my application? Or am I just freaking out about nothing?

Rolling admissions doesn’t exist anymore, I don’t think…I’m not sure how UMich handles EA acceptances, as in I don’t know if you get boosts or not. I got in early from out of state. Don’t worry about consideration…it’s not like they’ll look down on you for not applying early, just apply.

You’ll be fine submitting your app on the 4th. The Admissions web page implies that after the EA segment the process will return to rolling admissions with decisions being made in waves based on the date your complete application was submitted. So yes there would seem to be an advantage to submitting as soon as possible. I live in Ann Arbor, this is the first year of EA at Michigan and it seems that they’re still figuring out the process as well.

Thanks for the responses guys… but we have some trouble in paradise here. My councilor’s office failed to turn in my transcripts when they said they did. They probably wont even get into UMICH’s hands until the 20th… will they see that I had my personal application completed earlier this month? Or will they only see the delayed date? If I am obsessing over nothing feel free to cyber-shout at me
