<p>Just a little background information on myself; I am currently a 20 year old male student and a junior in his first semester at a private college in Pennsylvania. I have been here for two years already and I have to say that I am not happy here at all. I came here originally because of the fact that the private school liberal arts education would "broaden" my knowledge. That the small class size and the attention given to students by professors was great and all, the small community of students would be very accepting of everyone. Although I did not really see this school as fit as the school year went on I started to feel that I would be more fit in a bigger state school. I don't feel exactly at home here, college is supposed to be an enjoyable 4 year experience, but I am not feeling that. I am now planning on taking a semester break from school, and transferring over to a state school (Rutgers NB) and continue as a junior next year. So at this point I would be a bit behind but I feel like I would be more fit there, every weekend I drive down there anyways and I love it. Is it too late to transfer and lose some credits and just be a year behind? Or do I suck it up and just finish off my years here while being unhappy? Please help.</p>
