So I was debating all my colleges and decided on UCSD, but it required a verification process for my FASFA that I didn’t know until a few days ago. I’m more eligible for the IRS Data Retrieval tool so I have to request a Tax Return Transcript that I worry might not make it in time of May 1st. If I’m late does that mean I’m ineligible for the FASFA aid?
Call,the school…and ask. The DRT is not working so no one can use it.
When did you file your FAFSA?
Also…FAFSA doesn’t give you aid. It’s a form.

Yes I am a CA resident. I filed my FASFA back in February.
Ok…you are a CA resident. Are you eligible to receive the Calgrant? Did you get all of the materials for THAT submitted before March 2?
I kniwmits sort of water over the bridge now…but that fafsa was available for submission in OCTOBER…somreally February is sort of on the later side now.
Anyway…contact the school and ask.
Your parent can get the request for the tax transcript online. OR I believe they can make an appointment at an IRS office, and get it done there.
Yes, see if you can pick up the transcript at an IRS office this week.
