My daughter will be a freshman at Brandeis this coming fall 2018. She is Latin American, non-Jewish, any idea what social experience she should anticipate?
Congrats to your daughter! In general, Brandeis students are very accepting, and she should not have any issue. She should especially not worry about not being jewish, as the school is very secular.
Congratulations indeed! Our daughter is a (non-Jewish) sophomore and loves Brandeis. Her high school is one of the top 10 most ethnically diverse public high schools and she wanted diversity - ethnic, economic, geographic, religious - and found much of that at Brandeis. In orientation and classes, your daughter will get a chance to get to know a wide variety of folks. Our daughter found everyone to be very open and friendly.
