Latin - anyone?

<p>I am a bilingual student who is learning Spanish (a sophomore). I am interested in doing an online Latin course at Stanford or BYU to show additional interest. I have always been fascinated with Latin and Rome, but I hope to major in Biology in college. I would be studying the Latin to take the SAT II test.</p>

<p>My question is: do colleges like to see students taking Latin, or would they prefer a student that takes a different online course (any suggestions)?</p>

<p>How much would you have to pay for these online courses?</p>

<p>They sound an awful lot like cash cows to me.</p>
