laundry delivery at USC

Bed Bath and Beyond also takes Linen n Things coupons (and vice-versa), as long as they're not expired :)

Valet Today is the company that USC contracted for laundry and other services. They havent started service yet at USC, but I heard they are THE worst company ever created. I have friends at a couple of their schools, and they tell me that their website is just a front to make them look legitimate, and they dont even operate at most of the schools on their list. They used them for laundry before, and every one of my friends had a different horror story. They "lost" expensive garments, shrunk others, and plain refused service to some people even after they paid for the semester. They lost the contracts at other schools for bad service. I was going to try them out because they were a little cheaper than the service i use now, but after talking to my friends, forget it.
Last year i was living in North dorms, and this company Soapy Joe's Laundry Service did pick up and delivery laundry and dry cleaning too. They did a good job and never lost anything or gave me any problems. They came to the front of the dorms in a truck every day of the week, so it was convenient.

Valet Today has indicated that laundry service is not available any longer at USC on their website..

From personal experience, I would not recommend getting the sheets and linens from USC's brochure... better getting higher-quality stuff from Linens & Things, etc. instead.

As for laundry, well I did my own in the laundry rooms, but I did always see Soapy Joe's vans outside New/North.

Fewer spoiled children, perhaps? I can't imagine EVER agreeing to pay for laundry service for my daughter. Water delivery is another one --- tap water never killed anyone, at least not in the US. There are few things more irritating than a restaurant trying to make you feel second rate for not ordering bottled water.

LOL, Groovy. Besides, what is college for if not an opportunity to turn an entire wardrobe pink by mixing one cardinal and gold t-shirt with all the whites? Now that's an education.
