I am analyzing my daughter's bursar charges for her freshman year and I noticed there are 3 separate $25 charges for laundry plan fees, on 8/27, 9/22 and 11/11.

How many laundry plan fees can she expect for the year?

How many laundry plan fees can she expect for the year?

Laundry plans fees are managed by the student. Students choose to put in however much money they want.

If she used $75 worth of washing for the fall semester, then you can expect that she’ll use that much in the spring.

Although to be honest, that’s quite a lot she’s spending on laundry.

Well, its 1.20 a wash? 1.80 a dry? Something akin to that.

I spent about 90-100 dollars on laundry a semester. 2 loads, one color, one whites, every week.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll check with her. My son gets changed a flat fee of $20 a semester for laundry at Union College.

Actually there is an additional $25 that hasn’t been billed yet, totalling $100 for the semester. No biggie, I just didn’t expect it.

Do unused credits carry over from semester to semester?

I’m fairly certain the money rolls over, it just can’t be refunded to you.

Also, credits stay with you on your ID number forever. My friend from summer college her junior year’s summer put money for laundry, still had it left over this year as a freshman.

Yep, the money rolls over from semester to semester…you just can’t use it for anything but laundry.
