Laundry Service

My Mom Heard That There Are Laundry Service Companies That Will Come To Your Dorm And Drop Off And Pick Up Your Laundry And Or Dry Cleaning. Anyone Know About This And If So, Which Company Do You Prefer?

well, yeah, there's an on-campus company called WashU Wash, and you can set up a contract with them to basically have them do your laundry all year. not worth it, in my opinion, because there are laundry rooms in every dorm, and it's not like doing your own laundry is difficult.

Coins, detergent, push a bottom, and laundry done. No need for expensive services.

you don't even need coins anymore! you can swipe the same card you use to pay for food, and the laundry money comes out of a separate vending account. It's that simple

Honey, you're gonna have to learn how to do it sooner or later...maybe your mom can show you how to do it this summer before you leave for school.

Learn to do your own laundry - I don't care if you can afford it, it just shows a sign of immaturity if you can't take an hour and a half a week out to do laundry. Wash U Wash is a convenient service to use if you need something dry-cleaned though.

Full year of laundry service costs $400. It costs more if you have the laundry delivered. My S did his own laundry for 2 years, then he decided to try Wash U Wash because of his busy schedule. He pays for the service himself, and he says that they do a good job.
