Law internship for engineering undergrad?

I'm a junior in EE and planning on pursuing IP Law eventually. I'm wondering if there's any opportunity for an internship for an undergrad in engineering with no education yet in law (IP research, for example, seems like something I could do at my current level of education). I have no trouble finding pure engineering internships, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be more prudent to find an internship in IP law.

I've looked and haven't found anything like this, just wondering if it exists, or if it is only possible for a grad student in a masters law program to be useful in an IP law internship. Thanks!
