law school = practicing law?

now, i know that not everyone who comes out of law school becomes a lawyer. But how about those who don't even do anything related to law?

i'm currently studying finance and would like to work in the finance industry. My question is: what career options would be available to me (in the finance industry) after getting an undergrad degree in finance and jd in law? Also, would this career path justify the large amount of $$ i'm going to be pouring into my law degree?

Thanks so much!

Go to law school to practice law. While you may have other options once you graduate, none of them are greatly enhance by the $100K+ legal education you just bought. If you want to work in finance go get a degree related to that field.

Depends on what exactly you want to do in business… If you’re just doing finance, I agree, get a degree related to that. There are types and practices of business where a law degree might be very beneficial.
