ill start the countdown, 15 days until decisions!

Oh my!!! I just can help thinking about how LBW will be like!!! Ahhh I guess we are really excited about that huh!!!

Our school has mock exam for the next 2 weeks! Killing me!!! T T

damn 14 more days… two more weeks. ahhh… just be tthere already. once i know, i can finally put together my summer plans

@brookie17 hahaha I’m counting down the days as well!!! I can’t wait!! (thanks for answering my question btw ^^)

and @insomniac93 thanks for the info! I’ve been wanting to go to lbw for over a year! Haha :P

11 days.
i pray i get in otherwise im stuck at home allll flipping summer-__-
my parents think it should be either this or sat

^ I think i’m going to be studying SAT ii’s whether i go or not. Sigh. Such a freak. ■■■.

Sooooooo… I’m going to be in Belize on a mission trip when they release the results. I guess I’ll be paying the ridiculous data rates to check the decision I’m hoping that some good karma will rub off of this mission trip and make its way back to me in the form of an acceptance letter haha

do you think we’ll have time to tour some nearby colleges? im super excited for lbw too!! and do they pair us with a random roomate or do we get to choose?

@hotcheetos - some kids did look at Georgetown when we were in DC, but just briefly. And roommates are random, but literally everyone is awesome and you’ll be happy!

^ It’s not completely random. They ask a couple questions like clean/messy, early/late sleeper, etc., just to make it a little smoother. And yeah, there was free time given in DC and NYC, which could be used to visit G-Town and Columbia if you want. Not sure how the schedule will look this year. Best of luck guys!

^ is that after we get there or after decisions come out?

Questionnaire is part of your registration for LBW. You don’t find out your roommate until you get there.

and do they take people from the same area? i think there are a lot of people that applied from my area who are pretty qualified… :/

Nine days to go. Why did people invent apps like days matter??

ButI think no matter we will get admitted or not, our application to LBW may contribute to our real application to colleges.

Just relax and don’t worry about the results!

And what’s more, the mock weeks are finally going to be over! Ahhhhh!

I kinda like the fact that we don’t know our roommates until we get there:D It’s kind of exciting! ^^

Okay… so I know we’re not even applying to college or anything… BUT IM SO NERVOUS! Hahaha i don’t know how i’m going to handle myself next year when i’m waiting to hear back from actual colleges!

@lizzylbjy I agree! Whether we get in or not, our application helped prep us for the real thing! But unfortunately, I can’t relax… and i can’t stop worrying! hahaha this is so agonizing~

^ just saying, this is only a very small fraction of effort and time that should be spent, compared to what writing a college personal statement and completing supplements for each individual college would be like next year. Its gonna be 100 times the stress. I have seen all my older cousins go through it, and I used to feel bad for them, but now reality is, we are gonna be that next year…
therefore, not being able to relax should be the state that most of us juniors would most likely be in right now.

@Brookie17 I see what you mean, and I completely agree with the fact that applying to summer programs is not the same as applying to actual colleges next year haha;) but I think it helped give us a sense of what it will be like next year! Eep! I also watched and helped my sister apply to colleges 2 years ago, and unfortunately, she procrastinated until January 1st… Worst choice of her life! Christmas break = 2 weeks of hell hahaa
So I definitely see what you are saying! Hopefully the stress will ware off after results come out though! ^^

^ well at least we know that we are most likely to come through all that on the other side :)

Whoops it totally slipped my mind that we had questionnaires to fill out so we wouldn’t be totally different than our roommates. It’s not really a guarantee, though–my roommate slept early but I went to sleep reallly late.

Good luck though guys! You should all be proud of yourselves for just completing the app, and I hope it works out for all of you!

@insomniac93 thanks! I hope we all get in!! A little over a week til we find out! >_<
