LBW Wharton 2018

k good haha

I attended LBW last year and got accepted Wharton ED this year!

For a lot of people there, I know LBW was a life-changing experience, a place where they forged lifelong friendships. But it’s different for everyone. For me, it was an interesting summer program: an enjoyable one for sure, but honestly not super-duper amazing like I was expecting it to be (the friends I made there I keep in occasional contact with - snap streaks, fb messages, etc. nothing too serious). That being said, it’s still worth it. A month-long immersion into college life and business studies is not an opportunity to be taken lightly.

Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions regarding anything about the program or Penn in general.

@anonpenn2022 congrats on Wharton!!! From what I’ve heard, LBW seems to be really interesting, and I’m pretty anxious to get the results

Did everyone’s recommendation completion show up? It still isn’t showing up for one :frowning:

What were your extracurricular? and what scores did you send in?

@mellowgenius I sent in my PSAT and SAT scores, wb you?

@SeattleDreamer I sent in my PSAT and AP scores; i haven’t taken ACT or SAT

You got an ig? @SeattleDreamer

@mellowgenius no haha I’m so behind on the social media game

Hey y’all! A fellow applicant checking in. What did y’all send for your bonus items? Also, the numbers are out. LBW received 929 applications for 160 spots this year.

@Areslol1 how do you know 929 applied? Also, I didn’t submit a bonus item due to submitting at the last minute. What about you?

@SnatchCat I asked admissions a question relating to my application in an email and in their response, they told me 929 applied. My bonus item was a 2-page CV to expand on my extracurriculars.

@Areslol1 @SnatchCat I sent my resume.

Wow, so many qualified applicants on this thread. I have a feeling this year’s LBW admission process is gonna be brutal… :frowning:

agreed!! @ibanker38

damn it I should have sent in my resume instead, I just sent in a recommendation letter from a senator I interned with… I feel like that would have been more effective

@junseo6 at least you submitted something whereas I completely missed the opportunity on that one # R.I.P. LBW

Did everyone get a confirmation email?

no did you?

@junseo6 I did
