Has anyone heard from LEAD?

No – my daughter still haven’t heard from Lead CSI.

i heard from LEAD SBI but not LEAD SEI

Anyone heard from either of these programs?

No we have not heard from LEAD CSI. There are a lot more LEAD programs than there were a few years ago so I think it is just taking them a bit more time to decide.

I received an email today in response to my email to LEAD CSI – their phone message says that all notifications have been sent. My daughter was emailed (acceptance!) but didn’t receive it. Glad I checked and good luck to all who applied!

Can someone please share some information on lead program CSI at Caltech/Stanford/MIT? There is very little information on the lead & school websites. Maybe because this is a relatively new program?

I managed to find a daily schedule (Stanford) posted in the lead blog section. It’s a little strange that they even have SAT study sections built into the program. Morning lecture seems to focus on very theoretical stuff, followed by Java lectures and labs. Article-2

My main questions are:
- Is it highly selective to get in? Can anyone apply or is it mainly for URM?
- Are these programs mainly taught by Caltech/stanford/MIT faculty?
- What is the curriculum at Caltech? Both Caltech and Stanford offer Level II but not sure if they are the same.

Thanks a lot!
