<p>This was a thought I had, only in half-seriousness. Colleges put a lot of emphasis on leadership, so in high school many try to take leadership opportunities. My thought was that if everyone who gets into a good college exhibits leadership, then the college is full of leaders. Does that make no one a leader in that college?</p>

Is it really bad to not be a leader?</p>
<p>I don't think so, actually. To not be a leader doesn't automatically translate to being a follower. You don't have to lead others in something, but you don't have to follow them either. People can effectively function on their own, essentially leading/following themselves and come up with good ideas.</p>
