I’m not talking about who is leading duke, but more about the leadership atmosphere at Duke. Is there a sense that every student will and should be a leader in their respective field once they graduate, or is it more of a sense that just do the work and go get a job once you graduate? - Interested Applicant
That’s a pretty broad question. Like most elite schools it depends. Part of the appeal of Duke are the opportunities you are offered from Duke Engage to undergraduate research. I know some upperclassmen working on apps and who are headed to Silicon Valley after graduation, and others who are going to Yale Law. Whether you choose to start your own company or start some other initiative or go to medical school is completely up to you.
