Leadership in the Business World

well then wouldn't it be better to attend to another program which gives a transcript that i can show in my college apps?

the last thing i want to do is get graded during the summer. i think that if u have good grades for school, thats enough for your app.

Operation Enterprise gives credit..transcripts. you should check that out.

It's not like if you get a grade, it's going to significantly help you for your app. I think it depends more on what program you go to on your app rather than getting a grade in something. I agree with Peabody.

also, i think rather than just having something to put on an app, this is a program that provides you with a great learning experience for those interested in business.

besides what Peabody said... I think that for those wishing to attend LBW to gain advantage in the college apps... it's for these things rather than the college credit:
1) you get to meet wharton professors... In the App you have to choose one with whom you would like to study and explain why.
2) I think there's a mandatory "why penn" essay... living in penn for a month will really expand the opportunity of improving it.
3) you will have the opportunity to meet actual admissions officers.. if you do well... they might remember you when reading your app.

I dont know how LBW is seen by other universitites, but Im doin it for the enrichness of business knowledge... but i think it's never bad to plan a summer strategically....

Got rejected today

I feel for you man...I know how much it hurts...

At least you got Operation Enterprise to look foreward to.

Warren- sorry about the rejection, but remember last year my son got rejected, too, and is going to Penn in the fall. There IS life after LBW rejection!

I dont know my GC said my chanes for Wharton even ED are very slim. I guess, I will be going for NYU-Stern instead.

Warren....you wont know, unless you try. The LBW staff that selects the students is not the adcom.

hey warren. i got rejected too

w/e...no biggy..

not my loss.

Warren,

Rejected too.

Warren,

One more thought. Maybe you should request a switch to a GC with a more positive outlook on life. Have a great summer and don't give up.

Do you guys think they're done with all the decisions? It seems like they sent out a lot of letters this weekend. Anyone still waiting?

We dont need LBW. They got a bunch of nerds there anyway.

Warran are you going to Operation Enterprise for sure? I am going to the UCLA one.

they are done with all decisions. so I heard from JKCP. about 250 people applied.

did anyone receive financial aid decisions? i'm still waiting for those. do they send it by e-mail or again by postal mail?

I'm still waiting for either admission or rejection. Hopefully it will be here next week.

Has anyone received the information package yet?
